“Con vua thì lại làm vua”?!

Lâu rồi tôi không viết về các cá nhân trong hệ thống lãnh đạo cộng sản. Bởi nghĩ rằng, con người ai cũng có khiếm khuyết và những tồi dở thô thiển mà họ mắc phải chỉ một phần do nhân cách, mà phần lớn hơn là do sự trói buộc của guồng máy độc tài. Không một ai thành công giữ mình trong sạch trong hệ thống đó, đặc biệt là khi đã bước đến địa vị cao cấp trong đảng cộng sản và chính quyền.

1.  Hải Phòng City Public Security disrupted the funeral of Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Lợi, mother of Ms. Phạm Thanh Nghiên, a prisoner of conscience (POC)  

February 26, 2014. 

Hải Phòng City Public Security stopped friends of Ms. Phạm Thanh Nghiên who came to the funeral of her mother Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Lợi. Public Security officers openly and brazenly removed the condolence ribbons from the flower wreaths sent by civil society organizations. They disrupted the funeral procession to the cemetery. They relented and allowed the funeral to go forward only after the family of the deceased vehemently protested the inhumanity of their action.

Tối ngày 4/12/2014, vào lúc 8 giờ 30 phút, tại địa chỉ 305/16 Trường Chinh, phường 14, quận Tân Bình, Sài Gòn, bà tổ trưởng tổ dân phố phường 14, quận Tân Bình đi cùng với 2 phụ nữ khác tự xưng là thành viên Hội phụ nữ, và 5 thanh niên cao lớn đến đập cửa nhà trọ của tôi, và đòi tôi mở cửa để đóng tiền an ninh quốc phòng cuối năm.

The Vietnamese Authorities' persecution against dissidents

The Vietnamese Women For Human Rights (VWFHR) organization celebrated the first anniversary of its founding at Ky Dong Redemptorist Church in Saigon on the morning of November 25, 2014.

Many representatives from civil societies and religious organizations came to celebrate with us. They included Dr. Nguyen Dan Que, Venerable Thich Khong Tanh, Venerable Thich Thien Minh, Pastor Huynh Thuc Khai, Pastor Nguyen Hoang Hoa, Pastor Nguyen Manh Hung, Mr. Pham Ba Hai, M.S., Mr. Pham Chi Dung, Ph.D.,  reporter Truong Minh Duc, and several other members of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Faith from the Southern provinces. Their presence was a great honor and joy for all of us at the VWFHR.
